Langata police are conducting an investigation into a tragic incident where a police officer allegedly shot and killed two women before turning the gun on himself. The initial report indicates that the officer, who was married, had asked to be excused from patrol duty to collect something from his house. He then shot his colleague’s spouse twice before locking himself in his house and shooting his 28-year-old girlfriend seven times. The officer ultimately died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound that entered his neck from the front and exited from the back. The police have not disclosed any motive for the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
