Following the recent wave of arson attacks witnessed in some schools across the country, Kenya Film Classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua has raised concerns on erosion of social values among the youth. He said the media has a contribution to the increased schools unrest in the country. Mutua claims that unregulated content has led to moral decadency among the students who now care less about their future. he has vowed that his led board will step up its enforcement efforts to ensure that the media content is regulated
Mutua who paid a courtesy call to Kisii Central Deputy Commissioner Peter Wambugu noted that it was imperative for institutions of learning to be keen on the kind of media content the learners are exposed to.
