FORD Kenya’s National Governance Council has endorsed Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as their preferred candidate in the 2017 general polls.Wetangula received the all-important endorsement at the Bomas of Kenya where the delegates had gathered for a meeting.
Wetangula’s endorsement further complicates the political mathematics of the opposition coalition CORD that has not settled for its key candidate to face off President Uhuru Kenyatta.
At the national delegates conference meeting, Wetangula was urged to face it off with his other competitors within the opposition to ensure that he flies the opposition’s flag come 2017.
Elsewhere CORD Leader Raila Odinga was today installed as a Luo warrior at the historical Got Ramogi hills.
The Luo council of elders further endorsed Raila for presidency come 2017.
