Harambee stars prepare for CECAFA

Harambee stars squad that will compete in the CECAFA tournament that kicks off on December 3rd is expected to report into the training camp today.

The 25 man squad that was picked from different clubs in the country including Gor Mahia  who are just fresh from bagging their record 16th KPL title, has the highest number of players in goal keeper Boniface Oluoch, defenders Musa Mohammed, Harun Shakava and wellington Ochieng, midfielders Ernest Wendo and Kenneth Muguna as well as striker George ‘blackberry’ Odhiambo.

k’ogalo’s bitter rivals AFC leopards, who won the gotv shield title has a representation of five players in goalkeeper gabriel andika, defender dennis Shikhayi, midfielders Issuza and Duncan Otieno as well as striker Vincent Oburu.

Kenyan premier league top scorer Masud Juma leads the list of players from kariobangi sharks alongside midfielders Patillah Omotto and Ovellah Ochieng.

This comes after new manager Paul put expressed his satisfaction with the support he has received from the ministry of sports.

Stars will be facing Rwanda in their opening match at Moi stadium in Kisumu.
