Kenya’s Judith Jeptum wins Paris marathon, sets new course record

Judith Jeptum of Kenya won the Paris marathon on Sunday in a course record Of 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 48 seconds.

The 26-year-old beat the previous course record for the Paris marathon established five years ago by about a minute.

Ethiopia’s Fanti Jimma finished second in 2:22:52, followed by female compatriot Besu Sado 20 seconds later
