Newcastle will demand £27m for Georginio Wijnaldum but are yet to receive a single bid. Wijnaldum is a summer target for Everton, while Tottenham have been widely linked with a move for the Dutch midfielder, who cost Newcastle £14.5m a year ago.
According to report’s there has been no official approach either for Wijnaldum or Moussa Sissoko, who has a £35m price tag after impressing for France at Euro 2016.
Rafa Benitez insists Sissoko is not for sale, and the Newcastle boss has taken Wijnaldum on the club’s pre-season tour of Ireland as he prepares for the new Championship campaign.
Newcastle play League of Ireland club Bohemians in Dublin on Saturday in the first of a five-match friendly programme also featuring games in Belgium and at home to Vitesse Arnhem.
Their Championship season begins with a trip to Fulham on August 5, 2016.
