President Kenyatta sends condolences after Serbian envoy dies aged 69

President Uhuru Kenyatta is among the leaders who have condoled with the family of the late Serbian envoy to Kenya Ivan Zivkovic who died early yesterday.

The president has at the same time send condolence message to his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic following the untimely death of Zivkovic.

Ambassador Zivkovic, 69, died at Agha Khan Hospital, where he had been rushed by his family after he developed breathing problems.

He was living in Runda and family sources said he had heart problems for some time.

The Ambassador previously served in Burundi, Comoros, Eritrea, Rwanda, Somalia and Uganda.

The president pointed out that since his posting to Kenya, Ambassador Zivkovic has been working tirelessly to improve bilateral and trade relations between the two countries.
