The entry of Dogtas in to the Kenyan market follows a visit by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan last year whose aim was to establish economic and strategic relations between the two countries. During President Kenyatta’s visit to Turkey, in 2014, Kenya entered into a memorandum of understanding with Turkey with trade and security topping the agenda.
