Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji has condemned acts of looting and vandalism of property that have characterized the anti-government protest in Embu.

The protest has a left a wave of destruction since commencement three weeks ago with the MP saying they have only served to do more harm than good. The protests has left business owners counting losses running into millions of shillings whereas several public infrastructures have been destroyed including Governor’s, KRA and UDA offices.

The MP accused those behind looting and destruction of property of being enemies of progress, saying they were doing more harm to business owners that even the finance bill they were pushing to be withdrawn.
