The 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams officially begin today across the country. According to the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC), all systems are in place to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process.

Following successful rehearsals held on Friday, candidates are set to begin with oral examinations in French, German, Arabic, and Kenyan Sign Language.

KPSEA and KJSEA Exams Scheduled for Next Week

In addition to the KCSE, two other national assessments are also on the calendar:

These assessments are scheduled to begin next week, according to KNEC.

More Storage Containers for Secure Exam Material Distribution

This move is aimed at ensuring improved logistics and safeguarding the integrity of the exams.

Strict Measures Against Exam Malpractice

Meanwhile, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has issued a stern warning against exam malpractice.

He emphasized that legal action will be taken against anyone found engaging in unethical or illegal examination activities.
