
Ida Odinga has declared a personal net worth of Ksh.500 million while appearing before the National Assembly’s Departmental Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations for vetting as Kenya’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). During the session on Friday, Ida clarified that the declared wealth represents her individual assets and should not be confused with property associated with the larger Oginga family.
